How the App Works

Photo AI Dedupe uses Apple's on-device machine learning and Neural Engine to analyze your photos for duplicates. Here's how data is handled:

• On-Device Processing: All photo analysis, similarity detection, and AI processing happens entirely on your device. Your photos never leave your device for processing purposes.
• Photos Library Access: The App requires access to your Photos library to identify and manage duplicate photos. This access is used solely to display photos within the App and to delete duplicates at your direction.
• iCloud Storage: If you use iCloud, the App may store processing results (such as duplicate group information and your review decisions) in your personal iCloud account. This data is tied to your Apple ID and is not accessible to Smokinserver LLC. It is stored and managed by Apple in accordance with Apple's terms and privacy policy. This enables synchronization of your progress across your Apple devices.

Third-Party Services

The only third party that may have access to any data from the App is Apple, through the following services:

• Apple Photos: The App integrates with Apple Photos to access and manage your photo library.
• iCloud: The App may use iCloud to store your processing results and synchronize them across your devices. This data is stored in your personal iCloud account and is subject to Apple's Privacy Policy.
